Education

All participants of the Esther Foundation that are under nineteen years of age must attend full time education within the programme, which is approved by the Curriculum Council of Western Australia. The content of this education facility includes Maths, English, Independent Living, Structured Workplace Learning, Beliefs and Values and Recovery in the Community.

In addition to this, all the program participants that are nineteen years of age or older have access to a choice of Certificate III training courses through TAFE, delivered specifically to the program participants.

Program Graduates, Volunteers and Staff all have access to  Diploma and Certificate IV Training in Community Services Work, Community Welfare Work and Youth Work; as well as the Advanced Diploma in Community Service Management. This is  provided by the Australian Centre for Advanced Studies and funded and delivered through the Esther Foundation.

The recovery programme within Esther has integrated itself closely with education in order that young women can advance themselves educationally whilst a participant of the residential programme working on their individual recovery issues.
