Grand Gala Charity Ball
The Esther Foundation held its inaugural Grand Gala Charity Ball at Government House Ballroom in October 2007. Tickets were sold out before the flyers for the event even went to print, with some Two hundred and eighty guests attending the event.
The Gala Ball was supported by sponsorships from the ANZ Banking on Women Committee, DVG Automotives, Doric Construction, Dale Alcock Homes, State Politicians, Worldwide Online Printing, Meyer Shircore, Euroofing, Cullen Wines and Little Creatures Brewing.
Alicia Gorey (from ABC News) was the Master of Ceremonies, renowned real estate identity Mack Hall conducted the auction and Natalie Gillespie [Yothu Yindi] performed live.
The Gala evening also provided a venue for Esther Foundation program participants to show productions of their own short films, writing, singing and choreographing their own special dance performance; all derived from the organisations extensive creative arts program.
The next Grand Gala Ball will be held in 2011
